Transfer Station

Starting January 1, 2026, the Transfer Station will adopt a single, consistent set of Sunday hours throughout the year.

The facility will be open every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This change eliminates the previous distinction between Winter Hours and Summer Hours (Memorial Day–Labor Day). By standardizing the schedule, the Town aims to make it easier for residents to plan their visits and ensure reliable access to the facility during all seasons.

Wednesday and Saturday hours remain 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 : $120 for up to 2 stickers

New Fiscal Year stickers can be purchased over the counter, check or cash, at the Town Administrator's Office M-F 9:00AM - 5:00PM after June 1.

The Monterey Transfer Station DOES NOT accept yard and garden trimmings. There is a container, at the Transfer Station, that is only for food waste and scraps. Please DO NOT throw yard and garden trimmings into this container.
